- Visual check floors, ceilings, and walls for signs of water damage, mold, and mildew.
- Run water in all sinks, tubs, and showers, and flush all toilets to test drains and keep traps filled. Turn the water main off afterward.
- Check sinks and toilets for leaks or mildew.
- Check that all AC units are working properly and ensure thermostats and humidistats are set to the client’s specifications.
- Confirm that refrigerators, wine coolers, and freezers are operating properly at the correct temperatures.
- Check water heaters for leakage. Test tankless units.
- Check breaker panels for tripped circuits.
- Test lights and fans.
- Replace AC filters as needed.
- Inspect lanai’s screening and doors for any damage.
- Check and replace smoke alarm and thermostat batteries as needed.
